San Antonio Walks - The Only Guided Walking Tour of Downtown San Antonio
· Jul 8, 12:32 PM

I just took a guided walking tour of Downtown San Antonio. The name of the tour company is San Antonio Walks.
I took the tour last Friday, and it was an awesome historical overview of downtown San Antonio. I learned stuff about the Alamo that I didn’t even know. They mentioned several of the myths about the Alamo.

It also took in the historical aspects of La Villita and touched on some of the cowboy history of San Antonio.

I recommend this excellent tour to tourists and natives of San Antonio alike.

Check it out next time you’re downtown San Antonio. The have tours at 9 AM, 12 PM, and 6:30 PM. (There’s no 6:30 tour on the weekends.)

  1. Yeh,

I took it too! It was more informative than any tour I’ve taken in San Antonio. The overview of current stuff was absolutely true too!
Pretty much planned what was left of my trip based on the tour guide’s info given during the tour. He made it easy to fgure out how to get there, etc. It was a great way to get a snapshot of the city, old and new. Highly recommended!
