AT&T WIN?
· Aug 5, 12:22 PM

Lately, there has been a lot of negative press about AT&T around the net. Especially from iPhone customers.

I admit, I was disappointed in Apple’s decision to reject the Google Voice apps from the AppStore. And, it was hard to believe that AT&T had nothing whatsoever to do with that decision.

But today, at least for me, AT&T ROCKS. Here’s why:

Let me give you some background.

During the last few months, I’ve been trying to sustain myself as a freelance designer. Unfortunately, this has proven harder than I thought it would be. So, in June, I was late on my AT&T bill, and the service was suspended for a couple of days. I made the payment, but a $36.00 “restoral” fee was attatched to my next bill.

Well, that bill is due this week. And due to it being $36.00 more than usual, and also after looking at my finances, I realized I could pay all but $25.00.

So I went to the website and paid what I could.

Here’s where AT&T became AWESOME.

I was worried that since I still had $25.00 past due on the account, that my account would be suspended again.

So I called AT&T Customer Service and was connected with a representative named Ashley. I explained my situation to her, and after a few moments she solved the issue.

She explained to me that my service was still subject to disconnection when I called, but that she gave me a refund for the aforementioned “restoral” fee.

Now, not only is my bill up-to-date, but I have a $15.00 credit on my account.

I am very grateful to AT&T Customer Service for helping me out in this time of need, and would like to congratulate them on a JOB WELL DONE!

Put this one in the WIN column for AT&T!
