Video on Flickr?

Aparantely so. Is this a good idea? I don't think so. At least, not for Flickr users. Flickr has been about photography for a long time--good photography. Now, I don't think videos of someone's vacation alongside their photos from the vacation is a bad idea. But, how long do you think it will take before someone uploads the latest Family Guy episode? How long will it take before someone uploads the first video spam? I don't know about you, but frankly, Flickr has been a nice vacation from the spam and commercialism of the web. I go there to escape. This is just a bad idea.
