Some Music & Developing for the iPhone
· Oct 31, 06:25 AM

Well, I’ve had my first experience in web development for the iPhone.

Let me just say, it was a lot easier than I thought!

Now, I wasn’t developing an application, just an informational website. But it still was a learning experience.

The biggest challenge was getting the site to display properly in the iPhone and still look good in a regular full-size web browser like Firefox. I wanted to do this without having to have one site for the iPhone and one for everyone else.

Well, it took some trial and error, google searching, and conditional tweaking to get it to work, but in the end, it worked.

Here’s the URL to the site: http://www.uthscsa.edu/podcasting.

And if you would like to see what it displays like in the iPhone, go to iPhoneTester.com.

Since the iPod family is so in tune with music, I’ll leave you with some songs.

Bruce Springsteen – Born to Run
Beck – Earthquake Weather
Steely Dan – FM
America – Ventura Highway

Enjoy!
